Adversity Fuels Purpose

Our high school students were blessed with an unforgettable afternoon of inspiration, encouragement, and personal growth as we welcomed guest speaker Lance Cibik to campus.

Through authentic storytelling and heartfelt wisdom, Mr. Cibik shared his journey of overcoming challenges and transforming adversity into purpose. His testimony served as a powerful reminder that our trials do not define us instead, they can become the very foundation for growth, resilience, and impact.

One of the key takeaways from his message was the mindset shift of asking, “This happened... now what?” Rather than becoming discouraged by obstacles, students were challenged to take meaningful action, embrace opportunities for growth, and move forward with courage and determination.

Mr. Cibik also emphasized the importance of mentorship, encouraging students to recognize that they are uniquely positioned to both learn from others and invest in those around them. His insights highlighted the value of community, leadership, and intentional relationships.

Most importantly, students were reminded to trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit our forever Helper who faithfully leads, strengthens, and equips us through every season of life.

We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Cibik for taking the time to pour into our students and share such a timely and impactful message. We pray that the seeds planted during this special gathering will continue to bear fruit as our students walk confidently in the purpose God has placed on their lives.
