The NCISAA has determined that VCCS fielded ineligible student-athletes during the 2024–25 and 2025–26 basketball seasons. As a result, we must forfeit all wins for those seasons and are ineligible for postseason play this year. We have also been placed on probation through 2027–28, which means we may continue to compete going forward while operating under heightened attention to rules and compliance guidelines.

We have fully cooperated with the State Office, and the matter has been resolved.

While these errors were not intentional, we take full responsibility. We have strengthened our internal eligibility and compliance processes to ensure this does not happen again.

We understand this is disappointing for our student-athletes and families. Our commitment to integrity, accountability, and developing kingdom-impacting leaders remains unchanged.
