A proud “Lifer,” Pastor Chisholm’s journey with VCCS began at just four years old. Growing up within the halls of Victory, he developed lifelong friendships, a deep love for the Lord, and an enduring passion for Christian education. After graduating from Davidson College with a degree in Biology, Pastor Chisholm returned to his alma mater as a teacher, where he quickly earned a reputation for his challenging instruction, high expectations, sense of humor, and heartfelt investment in his students.

Throughout his years at VCCS, Pastor Chisholm has made a profound impact—not only in the classroom, but also through powerful chapel messages and innovative STEM programming that equips students for success in the modern world.

His appointment as Elementary Principal is a full-circle moment and a testament to his unwavering commitment to academic excellence and spiritual growth. Pastor Chisholm is passionate about seeing Victory excel in every arena and considers it an honor to help shape the next generation of leaders.

He counts it a privilege to continue the legacy of Pastor Robyn Gool under the direction of the current VCCS administration. He is deeply grateful to be entrusted with this vital leadership role.

Why VCC Elementary?

At Victory Christian Center School, elementary classrooms are interactive learning communities in a Christ-centered environment. Strong emphasis is placed on Godly principles through daily Bible study, prayer, memory verse, weekly chapel, and the KINGS SOAR character development initiative. Christ-centered academic training integrates faith and learning from a Biblical perspective.

At Victory Christian Center School, elementary classrooms are interactive learning communities in a Christ-centered environment. Strong emphasis is placed on Godly principles through daily Bible study, prayer, memory verse, weekly chapel, and the KINGS SOAR character development initiative. Christ-centered academic training integrates faith and learning from a Biblical perspective.
Elementary students are given the foundation for academic success in language arts (reading, writing, phonics, and vocabulary), math, science, social studies, physical education, Spanish, technology, and performing arts. To provide a well-rounded experience, special events, celebrations, and field trips are planned throughout the year.
Curriculum decisions are made to address the academic needs and learning styles of the student population. Teaching courses come from a variety of the best curricula in the United States to develop a love of learning and improve academic performance for all students.
One of the highlights of spiritual development at our school is a weekly chapel. Chapel is held every Wednesday and is designed to make praising God and learning about His greatness fun and exciting.
Spanish, art, music, physical education, and library classes are provided weekly. Students who would like to master their musical talents are offered private piano, voice, string, and percussion lessons at an additional cost.
The dynamics of drama, song, and dance are incorporated into the VCCS Elementary curriculum. In addition to memorizing parts for on-stage performances, students are taught projection, stage positions, motion, gestures, improvisations, and choreographed dance steps. Age-appropriate stage plays are handpicked, especially for student productions, which are presented annually before a massive live audience.
Special events are celebrated and occur throughout the school year to enrich and broaden their exposure to the world around them. Grandparents Day, National Hispanic Heritage Celebration, Veterans Day Program, Black History Celebration, The 100th Day of School Celebration, Thanksgiving Program, Science Week, Read to Lead Program, Literacy Week, and Parent-student luncheons are a part of the elementary experience.
