VCCS Welcomes New Faculty Members & Introduces the Thrive Center!

It is with great joy that weI welcome the newest members of our King’s family. Ay’Shya Ballkcom, Ariah Cornelius, and Nakoya Solomon will be joining us at our Middle and High School campus, and we are excited about the passion and purpose they bring. I also invite you to join me in celebrating Mr. Chisholm, who now takes the helm as Principal of our Elementary School. His steady leadership and heart for children will be a great blessing to our younger learners.

This year also marks an exciting shift as we transition from our traditional Guidance Department to the Thrive Center, led by Mrs. Dorsey and Mr. Eze. The Thrive Center is more than just academic support, it is a space where students are equipped to thrive spiritually, academically, and emotionally. Through academic coaching, college and career readiness, spiritual mentorship, social-emotional support, volunteer opportunities, and enrichment programs, students will be empowered to discover their God-given purposes and walk them out with confidence. At Victory, our students don’t just learn—they thrive!

We are here for one reason: to fulfill the mission God has given us. Victory Christian Center School is a Christ-centered, academically challenging community committed to developing Holy Spirit-led leaders who will impact their worlds for the Kingdom of God. Every child that walks through our doors has a divine purpose, and we count it a privilege to nurture that calling with excellence and love. As we walk together through this year, let us be encouraged by Isaiah 43:1, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.” This is the heartbeat of Victory - each student known, seen, and deeply valued by God.
