National Day of Prayer
Thursday, May 1, marks the 74th annual National Day of Prayer—a time-honored tradition inviting Americans to unite in prayer for our nation. This year’s theme, “Pour Out to the God of Hope and Be Filled,” is inspired by Romans 15:13.
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
This powerful verse reminds us that through faith, we can experience joy, peace, and an abundance of hope. As we face the challenges of our time, let us come together to seek divine guidance and renewal.
We invite you to join us in this national observance by participating in a collective moment of prayer. The National Day of Prayer Task Force has provided a corporate prayer to guide our reflections. You can access this prayer and other resources below.
Whether you gather with others or find a quiet moment alone, your prayers contribute to a unified voice seeking hope and healing for our nation. Let us lift our hearts together on this special day.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Help us celebrate our amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week! From May 5th through May 9th, we’ll be showing our gratitude for the incredible work they do every day.
To make it extra special, we’ve gathered a list of each teacher’s favorite items—just a few things that brighten their day and show how much we care. If you’d like to surprise a teacher with a small gift or gesture, check your email for our latest e-blast for more information!

Lil' Kings Summer Camp! ☀️
The VCCP Lil’ Kings Summer Camp offers children ages 3-8* rewarding experiences they won’t forget including lessons that stimulate curiosity and creativity, fun-filled weekly themes, exciting activities like water games, cooking, sports, and much more!
*A child must be 3 years old with a birthday on or before October 31, 2021 and potty trained to enroll.
Dates: June 2 – July 31, 2025 (Closed July 3rd & 4th)
Hours: Monday - Friday | 7 am to 6 pm
Just $165 per week and you ONLY pay for weeks your child attends!
One-Time Registration Fee: $40

Opportunity Scholarship Info Session
VCCS will host an in-person info session on February 27 at 6:30 PM in the middle/high cafeteria, to guide you through the process and answer any questions. We hope to see you there!
