VCCS Tower Garden Initiative

Our Tower Gardens are not just a source of fresh produce; they're a symbol of our commitment to sustainability, health, and community outreach. These vertical aeroponic gardens provide an innovative way for our students to learn about gardening, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.

But the impact of our Tower Gardens reaches far beyond our campus. The fresh produce grown here will eventually find its way onto the plates of our students during lunchtime, enriching their meals with nutritious, homegrown ingredients. Additionally, we're proud to support our missions and outreach programs at Victory Christian Center by sharing the bounty of our gardens with those in need in our local and global communities.

To further expand this initiative and ensure its sustainability, we're actively fundraising to build a greenhouse on campus. This greenhouse will not only allow us to continue growing fresh produce year-round but also provide hands-on learning opportunities for our students and further enhance our commitment to environmental stewardship. Full STEAM Ahead!

Victory Christian Center School's annual STEAM Fest, where innovation meets education in an exciting and interactive festival setting! Each year, we open our doors to students from other local schools and STEAM programs to join us for a day filled with exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning. From engaging with our robotics team to witnessing the awe-inspiring launches of our rocket team, there's something for every budding scientist, engineer, and innovator to enjoy.

But the fun doesn't stop there! Our STEAM Fest also provides the perfect opportunity for students to learn more about our Tower Gardens initiative and the importance of sustainability in today's world. With interactive demonstrations, workshops, and exhibits, students can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

In the 2023-2024 school year, we took our STEAM Fest to new heights by combining it with our Hour for the Tower 5K event, creating an even bigger celebration of learning and community spirit right here on our campus. As we reflect on the success of this year's event, we eagerly anticipate welcoming everyone back for next year's STEAM Fest, where the excitement and innovation will continue to inspire minds and ignite passions for years to come.

Fine Arts and Beyond

Victory Christian Center School's dynamic Arts Department, where creativity knows no bounds and imagination takes center stage! Through our Fine Arts Program, students discover and refine their God-given talents while developing an appreciation for the arts. From drama and dance to music and the visual arts, students learn to stretch their faith and imaginations as they glorify God through their artistic expressions.

In addition to traditional fine arts disciplines, our curriculum extends to graphic arts and design, enriching our Media and Marketing classes. Students explore the principles of graphic design and apply them to real-world scenarios, including creating content for our school's social media accounts. This hands-on approach not only hones their artistic skills but also equips them with valuable tools for effective communication in today's digital world.

At VCCS, we believe in the transformative power of the arts, not only in enriching students' lives but also in enhancing their academic performance. Research confirms that students who participate in fine arts often experience significant academic growth, and we are committed to investing in and nurturing our students' gifts.

Our elementary, middle, and high schools offer a wide range of opportunities for students to get involved in performing and visual arts, including major performances and more intimate experiences designed to prepare, promote, and premiere our budding artists. Additionally, private classes in piano, voice, drums, strings, and acting are available to students in all grades, providing them with the tools and support they need to excel in their artistic endeavors.
