History

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry

— Habakkuk 2:3

The Vision

The vision for Christian education was seared into the hearts of Pastor Robyn Gool and his wife, Marilyn, long before the founding of Victory Christian Center School. In August of 1989, the vision came to fruition as Victory Christian Center, Inc. opened its doors to God’s school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Victory Christian Center School (VCCS) has grown from 165 to over 400 students. As the school experienced unparalleled growth, its facilities were expanded from one site to three campuses. Consisting of over 120,000 square feet, its infrastructure is spread out over more than 80 acres. VCCS is an extension of Victory Christian Center, a non-denominational full-gospel ministry, which has been impacting the Charlotte area for the cause of Christ since 1980. VCCS is accredited through the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA) and Cognia. It is registered with and has been approved by the North Carolina State Department of Non-Public Education and is a member of Greater Charlotte Association of Christian Schools. It is registered with and has been approved by the North Carolina State Department of Non-Public Education. VCCS is a member of the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association and the Southern Piedmont Athletic Association.
