On Thursday, February 17, 2011, the VCCS varsity girls and varsity boys basketball teams and varsity cheerleaders will travel to Statesville Christian for the semi-final round of the SPAA Conference Tournament. The games start at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively. The varsity girls team and the cheerleaders will depart from the high school location at 1:00 p.m. The varsity boys team will depart from the Pineville 1/VYB/gym location at 5:00 p.m. Athletes will need to bring extra money for a food stop. Upon completion of the games, athletes not picked up by their parents at the game site will return to the high school location only at 10:30 p.m. The bus will not stop at the Pineville 1 (gym) location. Please come out and support the Kings!!! Directions are given below.

Directions to: Statesville Christian, 1210 Museum Road, Statesville, NC 28625

Take I-77 North toward Statesville. Take Exit 51 onto I-40 West towards Hickory. Remain in your right lane and take exit (151). Go through the light at the end of the ramp as if you were getting back on the highway. Take the service road to the right. Make an immediate left onto the service road (Gaither Road). Go to the stop sign. Statesville Christian is straight ahead on the right.

Upon advancement to the final round of the SPAA Conference Tournament, the VCCS varsity girls and varsity boys basketball teams and the varsity cheerleaders will travel to Statesville Christian on Friday, February 18, 2011. The conference championship games will start at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. respectively. The athletes will depart from the I-85/high school location at 3:45 p.m. Athletes will need to bring extra money for a food stop. Upon completion of the games, athletes not picked up by their parents at the game site will return to the I/85 high school location only at 11:00 p.m. The bus will not stop at the Pineville 1 (gym) location. Please come out and support the Kings!!! Directions are given below.
