On Saturday, February 5, 2011, the varsity boys basketball team will travel to Covenant Christian in Marietta, Georgia for a 3:00 p.m. game. The athletes will depart from the Pineville 1 location (VYB) gymnasium at 8:45 a.m. Please bring extra money for a food stop enroute to Georgia. Upon completion of the game, athletes not picked up by their parents at the game site will return to the Pineville 1 location (VYB) gymnasium only at 9:30 p.m. The bus will not stop at the high school.

Please be reminded that all students must abide by VCCS guidelines for conduct and dress. The attire for Saturday will be casual. Students should not bring electronic devices and must give their cell phones to their coach upon boarding the bus. Please come out and support the Kings!!! Directions are given below.

Travel I-85 South to Atlanta, GA. Take the I-285 Bypass W Exit 95B toward Chattanooga/Birmingham. Merge onto I-285 W/GA-407 W. Merge onto I-75 N/GA-401 N at exit 20 toward Marietta/Chattanooga. Take the GA-120-Loop exit 265 toward US-41/GA-3. Turn left onto N Marietta Pkwy NE/GA-120 Loop W. Continue to follow GA-120 Loop W. Turn left on Barnes Mill Drive NE. Turn right on N Marietta Pkwy NE/GA-120 Loop/Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Hwy. Turn left on Fairground St. NE.
