On Thursday, October 20, 2011, the VCC Middle School football team will travel to Matthews, NC to play against Carmel Covenant and Anderson School in a round robin tournament at Arthur Goodman Park. The game starts at 5:00 p.m. The players will depart from the middle/high school location at 3:00 p.m. Upon completion of the game, players not picked up by their parents at the game site will return to the Pineville I location only around 8:00 p.m. Please come out and support the K-I-N-G-S!!! Directions are given below.

Directions to: Arthur Goodman Park, 1200 S. Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105

From Middle/High School:

Merge onto I-85 N toward CONCORD.

Merge onto I-77 S / US-21 S via EXIT 38 toward COLUMBIA.

Take the I-277 / NC-16 / BROOKSHIRE FRWY exit, EXIT 11.

Merge onto I-277 S / NC-16 S / W BROOKSHIRE FRWY via EXIT 11A on the LEFT.

Merge onto US-74 E via EXIT 2B on the LEFT toward NC-27 E / INDEPENDENCE BLVD.

Turn RIGHT onto SAM NEWELL ROAD.

SAM NEWELL ROAD becomes N. TRADE STREET.

ARTHUR GOODMAN PARK is on the RIGHT.
