| In the Fine Arts Classes, students grades 6-12 are taught the foundational elements and principles of art, such as line, shape, color, texture, value. Students in the 6th and 7th grade also work heavily with art expression through Collage Art, consisting of magazine, construction paper, and paper machete. Students grades 8-12 are taught various drawing mediums, such as charcoal, pastels and colored pencil. The wet mediums (painting styles) both discussed and practiced include watercolor, oil and acrylic paint, and these students also benefit from a select series of Art History lessons.
